A Cozy Coffee and Stationery Gem

Niconeco Zakkaya is one of those places that instantly feels charming and a little magical. What started as an Etsy shop in December 2015 grew into a beloved East Village stationery boutique in August 2019. The shop was founded by Siming, whose time living in TokyoOsaka, and Kagoshima helped shape the shop’s thoughtful, Japanese-inspired feel.

You’ll find Loaf on Paper by niconeco zakkaya at 64 Grand Street, Brooklyn, New York 11249. What makes the spot extra fun is its layout: the front of the store is a coffee shop, while the stationery area is tucked in the back. That means you can stop in for coffee first, then wander behind it to browse cute paper goods, cards, and all the little things that make stationery lovers happy.
